500ml bottle at Anthony's of Wellington on 28th August 2021. Clear light golden body, foaming white head. Mild citrus nose and taste, decent malty base for the hops to play with. Easy drinking beer with a good depth considering the ABV.

500ml bottle in Anthony's, Wellington Shropshire on 21st August 2021. Clear golden body, weak white head. Decent enough blend with both the twiggy hops and light maltiness coming together nicely. Nothing strong or clever about it, just a pleasant uncomplicated beer.

330ml can: BBE May 2022. Drank in Anthony's, Wellington Shropshire on 21st August 2021. Clean and clear bright golden body, white head. Crisp almost sharp carbonation, but very little nose or flavour. I bit disappointed to be honest.

Bottle from Ebenezers, Nantwich – drunk at home. Pours a dark plum purple with a lively but transient cream head. There’s a slightly fruit aroma – but not much. Fruits however, come to the fore in the mouth, with plums, raisins and dark fruits intermingled. Caramel and malts underly it all, and some chocolate comes through eventually. Not a worldbeater, but pretty decent.

Clear amber/gold with a creamy white head and floral hops on the nose. Semi-creamy, with floral hops and bitterness nicely balanced, some light biscuit malt and sweet fruit apparent underneath

Bottle from Waitrose. Golden in colour, with moderate carbonation and a slight, white, head. Stone fruits, some ripe, slightly grainy, malts and a touch of leafy hop. Finish was semi-bitter. So so.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Bear & Billet, Chester on 20th Sep 2020. Lovely clean amber body, off-white crown on top. The barrel had just come on and the beer was in a great condition, my half being the first one sold. Hoppy, fairly bitter and fruity without any citrus leanings, some piney notes too.

Bottle from Booths Supermarket, Media City. Amber with a head. Hoppy bitter that with a grittiness to its taste, has a mid-bitterness at best and is quite tasty within its style.

Half-pint, cask shared with Finn at Architect. Scattered lacing, filmy layer, clear amber-coloured body. Moderate smell of leafy hops and malty sweetness. Malt-fruity flavours, toffee and leaves. Malt-fruity aftertaste, discreet bitterness to it. Satisfying. (Chester 26.01.2020).

Cask at Architect, Chester. Pours the classic “bitter brown” with a tight white head. Has a good aroma of hops, chestnuts and tea leaves. In the mouth it is mainly malts with a hint of apples. Finish is sweet – like barley sugar sweets. A bog standard bitter really.
