Bottle. Nose is treacle, roast, herbal. Taste is treacle, bonfire toffee, malt, toast, bread, leading to a very floral, slightly herbal, lavender hop flavour. It's labelled a black ale whatever that is, and it's a disjointed mess.

Bottle. Clear golden/amber body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of wood and dried fruit. Flavour of marzipan, rusted metal and lightly roasted malt. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Quite sharp but overall itโs ok.
