Nose is cereal, slight caramel, grain. Taste is as promised, is honey, red currents, apples a little citrus leading to a short lightly bitter sweetish finish hoppy finish with a slight metallic note. Mouthfeel is slightly to carbonated. It’s largely good but the metallic note really lets it down. In a strange way it reminds me of the bitter my dad used to drink in the 80s....

Medium offwhite creamy lasting head. Clear golden body. Light floral aroma with strawy wooden notes. Sweet strawy fruity taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel. Dryish dusty strawy aftertaste with fruity notes. Nice, perhaps a little sweet and low on flavour. (0.284l cask at The Wharf, Manchester.)

Glowing copper coloured ale with a light bitterness. Has a fantastic creamy head and slightly thin in its texture. It has a light fruitness for its flavour, more evident in its aftertaste, but not so in aroma.
