Description
Weetwood is a multi-award-winning brewery and distillery based in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside near Tarporley.

We brew a range of permanent beers, some specials and one-offs and distil our own spirits from grain on our purpose-built sustainable site.

Cask, roadside tavern, Cheshire. Golden orange colour. Citrus, hoppy aroma. Taste is sweetish with more fruit .Very smooth with a nice dry lingering finish. A tidy session bitter.

Cask, Old Harkers Arms, Chester. Who’s in da (oast) house ?! Golden colour, prominent malt in aroma and flavour. Some fruit and hops tussling. Drinkable but no cigar.

Cask, Handpump, Plasterers Arms, Hoylake.Golden colour, white head. Floral, hoppy aroma. Citrus fruit flavour, and smoothly drinkable. Would definitely try again. Should induce a warm smile if not quite a full on broad cheshire grin !!

Cask at GBBF 2007. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light flowery notes. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of straw as well as light notes of flowers in the bitter finish.

Cask @ Warrington Oktoberfest. Pale golden colour. Fresh, lightly sweet aroma. Clean taste with a little sharpness and some hop dryness on the finish.

Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is hops, grass, sour fruits and wood. Flavour is grassyness, some fruits and yeast. Very boring.

Cask (handpump) @ Telford Warehouse, CH1, Chester. Clear yellow color with a small virtually none white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, flowers, perfume, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Cask (handpump) @ Mill Hotel, CH1, Chester. Clear medium yellow / orange color with a small virtually none off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, lemon, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to medium bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily / creamy, carbonation is flat to soft.

Cask gravity at Red Lion, Snargate. Gold, clear, lasting white head. It’s a blond beer, decent citrus hop and condition. Bit lagery. Fine.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A yellow beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is sweet grassy and hoppy, and the flavor is sweet malty with notes of hops and citrus, and towards the end also a light note of metal. The end is quite bitter, and the mouthfeel is thick and sticky.
