Cask half-pint, hand pulled in The Bridge End Inn, Ruabon, Wales on 22nd Sep 2015. I have struggled with Weetwood beers in the past, often blaming the yeast they use, which I have felt to be overpowering at times: this beer however was fine and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Good amber body, off-white head. Biscuit malts in the nose, slight hop fruitiness too, the taste more bitter with the hops showing more, the malts retreating somewhat. Nice blend.

Cask @ The Paramount, Manchester. Dark mahogany-red in colour with a creamy and slightly off-white head. Has a huge bubble-gum aroma and taste which does negate its strength in terms of taste. Quite crisp, but overly sugary in the main.
