Cask (handpump) @ Mill Hotel, CH1, Chester. Clear medium yellow / orange color with a small virtually none off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, lemon, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to medium bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily / creamy, carbonation is flat to soft.

Cask gravity at Red Lion, Snargate. Gold, clear, lasting white head. It’s a blond beer, decent citrus hop and condition. Bit lagery. Fine.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A yellow beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is sweet grassy and hoppy, and the flavor is sweet malty with notes of hops and citrus, and towards the end also a light note of metal. The end is quite bitter, and the mouthfeel is thick and sticky.

Cask at the Church Inn, Ludlow, Salop, 10-03-07. Pours an amber colour and has a sweet malty nose which pretty much gave me an indication of what this might taste like. Tasted very nice if a tad safe and was simple, malty, sweet, a touch of citrusy hoppiness and very quaffable.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2006. Clear golden colour. Fruity malty aroma. Fruity hoppy and slightly malty flavor. Long sweet malty aftertaste.

Cask handpull at Ye Cracke, Liverpool. Golden, thin white head. Sweaty socks hop aroma and a tad herby. Like a summer ale in mouth with hoppy dry finish. Some citrus, but a bit fuller than most blondes/summer beers. Quite nice really. Summer beer on a mild January day.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] An amber-brown beer with a white head. The aroma contains notes of honey and malt - and so is the flavor leading to a dry end.

Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival 2005. Orange/copper colour. Really nice hop nose with some complex malt. Sweet candy sugar and then good dry finish with a touch of sweetness.
