Cask @Gallows bird, real ale festival 2016. Pours mahogany color with a thin white head. Caramelly, almonds, sweet, marzipan aroma. Pretty much same flavors. Quite sticky and boozy. Woody finish. Too boozy for me at least.

Cask @Gallows bird, Real ale festival 2016. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Grapefruity aroma, tropical fruity, some Gooseberry notes. Fresh. Flavor has sweetness, grapefruits, citrus hoppy fruitiness. Balanced, tasty APA.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol. 17/12/2015. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. I’m with Fin on this one. Sweet and verging on the buttery, with some jammy fruits, heavy malts and a moderately bitter finish. Not good.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol, 11/12/2015. Deep copper in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Citrus fruits, grassy hops, some sweet malts before a decent, bitter finish. Good.

Keg consumed at Electric Bear Taproom, Friday 3rd February 2017 Pours hazy gold, this is a much better beer than I recall (see rating below) good bristly hoppiness, buzzy bitterness, dry, fruity, really good. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8 Bottle courtsey of Geraint and Helen (thanks you two!). Consumed at home Sunday 22nd November 2015 Golden in colour with a chill haze, a little white head atop. The label looks like a Partizan beer the taste soon dispels that happy thought. The Waimea and Cascade hops seem to have been used a tad sparingly, bitterness levels, crispness (despite the description) are disappointing. It’s too sweet and lacking a zippy, crisp bite, there is a little butter on the nose not a lot admittedly but noticeable. At best it’s ok, but overall I am unimpressed. A5 A3 T5 P3 Ov10 2.6
