Cask gravity at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Malty to start with then some grape and grapefruit and some sweetness comes through. A little earthy. Lemon. Fine.

Keg at The Merchant, CW, 31/10/18. Murky dark mahogany brown decent beige. Nose is biscuit, toffee, light charr, dried fruits, cocoa dusting. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, cocoa sprinkle, toffee, dusty hop presence, light pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with earthy hop bitterness. Decent flavoursome brown.

Cask at St Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2018, St Albans, Herts. A hazy golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit aroma and taste. Quite a pleasant offering from Electric Bear.

Can to à glass. Pours black, with a small layer of tanned head. Smell is roasty, tad sweet but no clearly recognizable maple syrup or vanilla just yet. Taste is sweet, thick, roasty malts, very mild maple syrup toward the back ( it does build up by the aftertaste). Vanilla stays hidden. Lactose is recognizable to those who are aware, but Def not overkill. Thick body, médium low Carbo. Mild bitterness. These adjuncts sound very nice, but are a great addition to an unbalanced beer ( hence, extremely thick, almost no Carbo, and straight up sweet) to me. This base beer might very well be better on it's own, in comparably to the basebeer of what I prefer, since it has more balance ( by the bitter touch etc) but in the final, adjunct style product, the bitterness gets in the way for the adjuncts to fully rise. So does the carbonation, which is relatively low, but higher than the 'close to zero' I'm talking about. A good beer, just not what I had hoped for.

0,33 l can. Pours murky golden with huge dense off white lasting head. Glass looks stunning as one pours everything in, cloudy at the top and almost clear at the bottom. Haziness settles very slowly. Aroma is dominated by hops, tangerines, pineapple, mango, tropical fruit. Feels kind of sweet. Flavor follows aroma, citrus is more forward. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture slick and carbonation quite lively. Finish is long, tangerines and mango followed by mellow bitterness.
