[ As Electric Bear Drop ].Unclear medium to dark amber - red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, pine - citrus - grapefruit, fruity hops, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, pine - grapefruit, marmalade - toffee, caramel, sweet malt, hop bitter, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170803] 6-3-7-3-12

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 5/12/2017. Dark brown in colour, with a small, beige, head. Creamy, porridge malts, some milk chocolate and dark berry notes, a hint of leafy hop before a warming finish. Enjoyable.

Can from flavourly.com. Dark cola like colour with a thin tan head. Aroma had roasted malt and light chocolate. Taste light bitter and light sweet. Full body.

Can from the brewer's own stall at the Bristol Christmas market. Black with mahogany hints and a tan head. Fake chocolate, vanilla and cream. Nice roasty malt behind. Ok beer, but it would be so much better if the chocolate tasted real.

Can from the brewer's own stall at the Bristol Christmas market. Hazy reddish-amber with a thin white head. Toffee and pine. Light and inoffensive and in all a bit dull. A disappointment compared to other beers I've had from this brewer.

Can from the brewer's own stall at the Bristol Christmas market. Golden-amber with a white head and a moderate fizz. Decent rich resinous mouthfeel. Full-on flavour of orange, lemon and mango. Just a hint of pine at the end. Sweetish with exactly the right amount of bitterness to balance; fresh and juicy, and yet with a crisp finish. This is a lovely IPA.

Can. Almost black with a light tan head. Vanilla and coconut caramel aroma with mocha rather behind. Smooth lactose body, lowish carbonation. Roast and mocha assert themselves enough to stop it tasting like a melted icecream and the coconut and even hints of berries find room. The sweetness is only barely restrained though.

Cask at Thomas Rigby's. Pours near black with a chocolate brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has roasted malts and light choclate with some earthy dark grains backing. Flavor has roasted malts and a touch of chocolate with roasted malts and dry finish.
