Can at home, from Grumpy Goat, 1st February 18. Pours black, little rim of lacy head. Aroma is grapefruit, dusty cocoa, citrus. Taste is stunning bitter citrus, cocoa, grapefruit, bitter cocoa citrus finish and linger. Fantastic BIPA, best one I've had in a while, great to see the style making a come back. 8 so far this year for me.

Can. Heh. Batch 21.08.17. Says "drink fresh". Oh well. Muddy reddish ochre, probably completely muddy amber, tiny white head, went relatively fast. Ogi's held better. Nice berry touch, even going towards grapes, over a slightly earthy maltiness. Too grainy but thankfully underneath. Interesting balance in the taste, lovely fruity, the blueberry is lively, sweetish and not excessive, teases and calls for more, the body, slightly grainy, ending on a mild bitterish note. Hmm. One wonders... would like to try this more fresh really.

Bottle picked up from Beer Revolution, Hay on Wye, Powys, Wales, consumed at Mum and Keith's, Kempsey, Worcestershire, Friday 5th January 2018 Pours almost black with a tan head, sticky, oily and with lots of dark brown sugars. The port barrel ageing is wonderful it softens the beer, cocoa, leather, a little spirit shows. Smooth, creamy its a lovely, lovely beer. A7 A4 T9 P4 Ov16 4.1
