Keg at Craft, Covent Garden, London, Saturday 3rd June 2017 Hazy gold with a white head, after my discussion about King Gizzard and the Wizzard Lizard and also Slowdive with the barmaid (great chat) this ended up being my beer of the day, a cracking beer, sweet but not too sweet, fruity but now too zappy, bitter but not too bitter, it’s marvellous. Juicy, really juicy. Lovely. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0

Cask at the Euston tap. This is a fucking golden ale. A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a sticky thin off white head. Aroma is hay, raw grains, apple, heather, earthy hedgerow hop. Flavour is composed of earthy light grains, rustic bread, hedgerow floral hop,. Palate is semi sweet, grain husks, decent cask condition. Raw and live. Like it.

Keg at RS HW, 30/05/17. Chestnut brown with reddish hues and a tidy beige cap. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee, grains, light hop notes. Taste comprises toffee, fruit loaf, toasted brown sugars, nutty twang, dark fruit rinds, biscuit linger. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with earthy hop bitterness. Fine for the style.

Can. Centennial, Citra and Mosaic hops. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, modest carbonation. Smooth malts, mild creamy sweetness. Smooth light orange, a little pith. Touch of orange peel bitterness. Whisper of pine. Light finish leaves a bitterish orange peel linger. Not bad, would never have known there was Mosaic in here.

Can on the Cotts Express, 68012, 20/05/17. Almost clear golden orange with a decent off White head. Nose is caramel, orange pith, citric tinged straw, soft bread, melon. Taste Comprises cantaloupe melon, tangerine, lemon drizzle, soft brioche. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. Passable IPA but lacks hop presence for me.

Keg at the Euston Tap, East Lodge, 26/05/17. Pours lightly hazed pale golden with a decent white head. Nose is citric sherbets, grassy vibes, straw, melon, toasted bread. Taste comprises pale malts, lemon peel, tangerine, melon, light bread, straw, toasted grains, light minerality. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Sessionable enough number but could do with more hop profile.
