Description
PINTA – We brew from the very first day of craft revolution in Poland!
Our great journey started on 28th of March 2011, when we brewed our first batch of „Atak Chmielu” („Attack of the Hops”) – first commercial American IPA in Poland.
Since that day we are still brewing new ales, lagers, sahti and sour beers. Alone or in collaboration with our friends from Polish and foreign breweries.
Whilst last five years we’ve produced beers in more than 60 styles, like: Imperial IPA, Sahti, Sticke Alt, Irish Red Ale, Imperial Witbier, Extra Special Bitter (ESB), Rauchbock, Grodziskie, American IPA, Weizenbock, Oatmeal Stout, Schwarzbier, Scottish Ale, Vienna Lager, Rauchbier, Pumpkin Ale, Rice IPA, Biere de Garde, Imperial Baltic Porter, New Zealand Lager and many, many more!
In 2015 we’ve launched brand new series of sour beers. It all started with rye sour ale called Kwas Alfa, brewed with Tobias Emil Jensen from Danish To Øl brewery.
We were also the first Polish brewery which crossed the border and brewed international collaborative beer outside Poland. That’s how we’ve produced Lublin to Dublin – stout brewed in Dublin, Ireland by Pinta and O’Hara’s breweries in 2014. In 2015 we’ve made collaboration with French Brasserie du Pays Flamand and Danish To Øl mentioned before. Autumn of 2015 bring another innovation in Polish craft. We are the first Polish brewery which brewed a beer in the different continent – with Japanese Baird Brewing Co.
You can be sure that we use all our experience and knowledge to give you the best beers we can afford! We still improve our skills and we are not afraid to make experiments. We love travels – even those furthest. We always bring a lot of the best inspirations from other countries and we are trying to share them with you, creating the best beers we can.

Bottle @ Milan-PSV warm up. Thanks to Hallinghansen. Pours dark ruby amber with a small white head. Mild yeast -a bit dirty, peach , wheat and a really rough citric bitterness. Kind of dusty and unclean!

50cl bottle from The Beer Store, Warszawa. Pours clear dark brown with a beige head. Malty and smoky aroma with caramel, roasted malt and hints of licorice and bonfire. Quite sweet and moderate smoky with a fairly balanced bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation. A bit on the sweet side, but otherwise balanced and enjoyable.

Aroma: sweet and fruity, grapefruit, a bit resin, a slight note of caramel; altogether not very intensive. Dark copper colour, clear, minimal head. Bitter, light sweetness. Full body, creamy, average carbonation. Not exceptional, but decent IPA.

Aroma: citrus (grapefruit), a git orange peel, slight note of wheat. Orange colour, hazy, minimal head. Medium bitter, very slight sweetness. Lively carbonation (a bit too high for me). Nice bitterness, with short finish, but it dominates the whole beer; you don’t feel you are drinking a witbeer. I can recall it was more fruity in 2012. Generally, I have mixed feelings about this beer.

Bottle shared by Peter Bognar. Aroma smoke, smoked ham, medium intensity. Clear dark brown colour. Taste is light to medium smoky. Evident hops bitterness. Good. Finish is hoppy bitter with light smokiness. The hoppiness surprised me, I can not believe nobody here picked it up. Very unprobable, that I would be so off so early into the tasting, with only 1 rauch and 2 darks beforehand. Good beer nevertheless.

Bottle. Black colour, brown rocky head, no lacing, does not last long. Aroma is mostly dark chocolate, I don’t feel much oats, no hops. Taste is light to medium sourness and light bitterness. Ash feeling in mouth, watery, abrupt unpleasant finish, quite a mess. Big disappointment, I don’t recommend this beer now. Previous rating: 6/26/2013 7/3/6/5/16 Aroma: mostly roasty, a bit like coffee, hardly any hops. Black, brown foam, minimal head. Light sweetness, minimal bitterness. Full body, thick feel.
