Draft at the brewpub. Aroma of light raosted caramel malt and floral hop. Amber color with white head. Thinnish body with creamy carbonation. Strange, but good, fruity flavor notes. The malt flavor is not all that roasted. The hop must very floral. The finish is dry, but only mildly bitter.

Nitrogen powered at the brewpub. Aroma is something dusty over dark toasted malt. Opaque dark color with a very dark tan head. Full bodied with very smooth nitrogenation. The flavor is mild, smooth, toasted malt. Not at all harsh. The finish is more burnt toast than bitter. Coffee and chocolate were very low key.

Cask at the brewpub. Deep roasted malt aroma. Mahogany color with a white head. Medium body with very smooth carbonation. Sweet roasted malt flavor backed by floral hop. The finish is sweetish, and the bitter is simply present. Seems a good representative of the style.

Draft at the brewpub as Dortmunder Lager. Very light aroma of malt. Darkish gold color with a white head that left rapidly. Flavor hints of cola, but mostly light caramel malt. Noble hop bitterness balances. The finish is decently dryish and bitter. Improved with a bowl of chili.

Draft at the brewpub. Light wheaty aroma. Pale gold color with white head. Medium body with mild carbonation. Starts with wheat, balanced by mild hop. Not too dry. Very nice. Bitter builds a bit in the finish. No fruit, but a little spice. Not a hefe.

Draft at the brewpub. Aroma of floral hop. Amber color with nice white head. Thin to medium in body with near creamy carbonation. Floral hop dominates the malt. Citrus is also present. Finish seems nicely done. Malt is detectable but bitter tingles the palate. Seemed a bit bland after cleansing with white bread, but the floral aspects seemed enhanced. Maybe it deserved a higher rating.

Cask at the brewpub. Aroma of caramel malt and light floral hop. Amber color with a minimal white head. Medium body; light carbonation. Flavor is caramel malt with balancing floral. Seemed a good APA. I tend to really like English hops, so that may be why I rated this "high".
