Founded in 2010 in the shadow of America’s tallest peak, 49th State Brewing is the brainchild of a chef/restaurateur/brewer and an Alaskan adventurer. 49th State Brewing’s Denali Park location provides a beer-centric base camp for those experiencing the wondrous wilderness of Denali National Park, while their Downtown Anchorage location serves up world-class brews with amazing views in the heart of the city. Both locations feature award-winning menus filled with locally and sustainably sourced Alaskan ingredients.

Bottle: Poured a deep black brown with a ring tan head. Aroma is boozy, whiskey, chocolate, toffee. Taste was rich roasted malts, chocolate, boozy, mouth warming.

Shared courtesy of Grumbo with ITFCDan. Aroma of alcohol, peaches, stone fruits, slightly spiced and herbal. Taste is almost of yoghurt, off pineapple, slightly syrupy and a bit watery. Looks great.
