Bottle that Jonas & Ursula brought along from the crowdfunding box, it's been here for more than 10 months, cheers you two! Had this Friday 13th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to The Veldt - Marigolds. Jonas cooked Pasta Carbonara, it was fab'. Pours hazy brown. Tart and tangy, sour yet not overly sour it's not really my thing but it tastes good, fuzzy and zappy, good. Score 7.4

Bottle that Marko brought along one year ago and has been sat in our fridge ever since, cheers Marko. Had this Friday 13th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Geese - Getting Killed. Jonas cooked Pasta Carbonara, it was fab'. Chocolate and coffee combine, chocolate chip and mint ice cream with a bit of mint that Marko and Jonas picked up on. Smooth mouthfeel, super toasty, bitter and rum is there but it's very subtle, lovely stout and excellent for not being at all sweet.

Bottle that Jonas was given by Gregor for his 50th birthday a year ago, cheers Jonas. Had this Friday 13th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Geese - Getting Killed. Jonas cooked Pasta Carbonara, it was fab', we had a strawberry cake. Pours dark brown a small head that soon departs. Lovely mouthfeel, warming, thickness in the mouth, little booziness, alcohol and chocolate combine, another great beer from Firestone Walker.

Bottle that Jonas picked up in Canada almost 20 years ago, cheers Jonas. Had this Friday 13th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Geese - Getting Killed. Jonas cooking Pasta Carbonara, it was fab'. There was a slight hiss as the bottle was opened. Pours almost black with no head, the aroma is very meaty, really meaty. Quite tangy and any sweetness has long since passed, alcohol is hardly noticeable, a little dusty old cupboard. Thanks so much Jonas for letting us drink a bit of history, however probably past its best.

Pours very dark brown almost edging towards black with a filmy light beige head peeling away at the edges. Light caramel touches, toasty, chocolate, light bitterness, a touch of cocoa powder. Lovely. Score 7.4

Bottle that Marko picked up today from the brewery. Had this Friday 13th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Anna Von Hausswolff- Iconoclasts. Jonas is cooking Pasta Carbonara. Pours almost clear gold, light hazy, again with a fast disappearing white head, better than expected. Nice in the mouth, nice bite, fruity, soft carbonation, a little fruit and creamy vanilla. Much better than expected.

Pours clear light gold with a fast disappearing white head, wow super smooth. super drinkabilty, this is a very dangerous heller bock. Lovely in the mouth, wonderful sweet maltiness, honey like flavours, abv is completely hidden.

Can that we picked up directly from the brewery (Marko recommended visiting Zmajska). Had this Friday 13th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Natural Magic - II . Jonas is cooking Pasta Carbonara. Pours dirty purple/red with a fast disappearing head. Smooth, fruity with a careful sourness i.e. this is one of this style that's right up my straße. Juicy, almost a creaminess. Good. Score 7.6

Bottle that we picked up directly from the Bier & Wohlfülhotel today with Marko. Had this Friday 13th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Natural Magic - II . Jonas is cooking Pasta Carbonara. Aroma is weird and verging on shocking, thankfully this aroma drifts off after a while, but to explain it's a bit sweaty and dirty, slightly mouldy even, drains? with a hint of citrus. Pours light/mid gold with a slight haze and filmy white head. Taste is far better than expected but still far from a classic beer. Citrus with a little peppery edge, light spice, soft mouthfeel. Score 4.9
