Bottle that we picked up from Dranken Vandenwoude, Veurne. Belgium. Had this Saturday 14th February 2026 at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Maserati - Rehumanizer. Pours almost clear with a slim white head, zappy and very much a wine blast, soft mouthfeel, not as aggressive as I was expecting but not without those typical lambic touches. Great. Score 7.8

Bottle courtesy of Jonas who traded this with a sadly departed Ratebeer legend Günther. We had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting and raised a glass to Günther. Pours black, no head, as Loz says elastoplast and germolene but what is really Islay whisky I guess. Soft mouthfeel, great drinkabilty, smooth and super easy drinking which amazes me considering the abv. Score 7.8

Can courtesy of Marko, cheers Marko! Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Kalax. Pours black with a brown head, thickness in the mouth, the coffee is there throughout but it's not in yer' face. Smooth, rich, yeah very rich. Roasty and malty, this is lovely. Great. Score 8.0

Can that I picked up from Drankgigant.nl! Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Kalax. Pours dark brown edging towards black, very soft mouthfeel, liquorice, warming, toasty, fumes come down the nose. A little bit boozy, love the carbonation, dark, sticky bonfire toffee. Score 7.5

Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas! Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Barnes Courtenay. Pours dirty brown with no head, still with a big boozy kick. It's fine but preferred the previous one from Tölzer, apologies it's a very lazy review Score 6.4

Bottle courtesy of Jonas cheers Jonas! Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Barnes Courtenay. Pours dark brown, peeling away at the edges, it's aged and I like it, it goes well with a dark chocolate gooseberry brownie. Tasty beer, I like the way the age see's it falling away a little, it's got very interesting with age. Barrel ageing has really helped. Score 7.3

Bottle that we picked up from the brewery yesterday with Marko! Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to PlannintoRock. Pours light amber with a white head. A touch of confectionery on the nose, wheatiness is somewhat subdued and left more to the flavour having said that it's not so obvious or pushy in the mouth, a little slightly unusual watery edge to this. Score 6.8

Can courtesy of Marko, cheers Marko! Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to PlannintoRock - Beulah Loves Dancing. Pours light gold, almost straw coloured with a clean thin white head. Fresh, crispy and with a nice understated bitterness. Soft mouthfeel, dry finish, solid, actually very good. Score 7.3

Bottle that we, me, Loz and Marko picked up yesterday from the brewery. Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Jamie XX - In Waves. Pours clear gold with a white head. A little soft mouthfeel, in the mouth it's a touch on the sweet side, there's a little bit of bitterness, quite nice ...stop....stop...stop... I've been encouraged to try it again and take a bigger sample, okay agree with Jonas and Marko it's better than quite good 👍🏼 Score 7.4
