Can picked up from Fristo Getrankemarkt, Freising. Had this Sunday 5th October 2025. Listening to Deadletter - Hysterical Strength. Pours hazy dark gold in fact it's closer to light amber with a large sticky and frothy white head. Taste is simple, subtle bitterness, a little hedgerow hoppiness both on the nose i.e. light wafts of berries, taste is a touch one dimensional perhaps I've served it a bit too cold for the style. It's okay, but that's two very okay beers I've had from Camba today and one absolutely fab' one.

Can picked up from Fristo Getrankemarkt, Freising. Had this Sunday 5th October 2025. Listening to Big Special - National Average and now listening to Sprints - All That is Over. Pours hazy lemony colour with a large sticky and frothy white head. Now this is good, very good and a big improvement on the previous Camba Braumeister beer that I had just tried. Really zippy, fresh and with a wonderful lemony citrus steak running through this. Nicely bitter throughout but there's some sweetness to balance things out, dry lengthy finish. Really like this.

I visited here Wednesday 1st October 2025. I've been here frequently in the past, however the beer range is certainly improving, e.g. there's at least 25+ Camba beers including all the latest Braumeister edition beers, plus all of the local breweries and a few surprises. Parking is good here, it's out of town just off the main road to München opposite a large Kaufland.

Can picked up from Fristo Getrankemarkt, Freising. Had this Sunday 5th October 2025. Will be listening to 1987 Indie soon after Loz has finished on the phone to her mum. Pours hazy lemony colour with a large white head, fresh and zippy tanginess, yeastiness is there, a little dry and fuzzy light bitterness. It's fine but not totally blowing me away.

Bottle picked up from a Getrankemarkt in Günzburg August. Had this Sunday 5th October 2025 Will be listening to 1987 Indie soon after Loz has finished on the phone to her mum. Pours clear warm gold with a large frothy white head. The hoppiness is a little bit dusty and perhaps not as fresh as I'd hope. Middling bitterness, a little bit dry, bit not as crisp or fresh as I would like. The second Sunday beer that I'm not enjoying and will only take a few sips of.

Bottle picked up recently, forgot where from. Had this Sunday 5th October 2025 Will be listening to 1987 Indie soon after Loz has finished on the phone to her mum. Pours dark, very dark mahogany almost, there's a light beige head. Nutty with caramel and a solid maltiness throughout. It's okay but truth be told it's not really my thing.

Can that we picked up from Ambasada, Zagreb last month. Had this Friday 3rd October listening to Afrodeutscha on 6Music. We had Pan fried Pumpkin Gnocchi with Peas in a Creamy Tarragon Sauce. Pours gold with a mid sized white head, there is a little haze. Light hoppiness on the nose with a streaky waft of citrus also coming through. Nicely bitter, the flavour is citrussy, however there's a little herbal thing going on and a little honey in the background providing some balance. The finish is moderately dry. Nice beer but interest in this tails off after a while.

Bottle picked up from a Getrankemarkt in Günzburg and consumed at home Friday 3rd October 2025 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music and cooking Pumpkin Gnocchi with Peas in a Creamy Tarragon Sauce. Pours dark brown, murky with an off white/light beige head. Caramel on the nose and also in the mouth, there's a dark fruity tang also. Good Dunkel but also a bit straightforward and not offering up anything out of the ordinary.

Bottle picked up from a Getrankemarkt in Günzburg and consumed at home Thursday 2nd October 2025 sat listening in the dining room to Nathan Shepherd New Music Fix on 6Music, Deb Grant not around this evening. We listened to a very good edition of Round Table with Huw Stephens earlier. Anyway onto the beer, it pours clear gold, warm gold, large white head but this soon departed. Soft mouthfeel, sweet maltiness it's 5.5% but drinks like a 3.5% beer, very easy drinking, there's a light bitterness but it's very well integrated and doesn't detract. Really good beer.
