Bottle picked up from Apfel Getränke Moosburg and consumed Thursday 21st August 2025, sat drinking it in Frank we're now set up in the campervan field at Ulm Obstwiesenfestival. Pours murky gold, with a stable small/mid sized sticky white head. The nose has a few eggy notes, 'Burton Snatch'. Soft mouthfeel, a little light juicy fruitiness, this lingers. Yeastiness is quite assertive and you know I would be hard pressed to categorise this, it's not really as summery as they aimed for, that said, it's a bit quirky and I quite like it, which is handy as I picked up a six pack. Loz gets floral with a peachiness.

Can picked up from Drankgigant.nl, webshop, Vlissingen,, Netherlands and consumed Thursday 21st August 2025, sat drinking it in Frank we're now set up in the campervan field at Ulm Obstwiesenfestival. Pours murky gold, much like the Pils I just had, the head soon departed with this beer. This is a big beer, thick mouthfeel, that said it's not shouty, aggressive or in yer face, it's a TIPA that's very drinkable, soft but with a deceptively big punch, ripe fruits, juicy. This is good, very good.

Bottle picked up from the Brewery/Gaststätte Thursday 21st August 2025, sat drinking it in Frank waiting to get into Ulm Obstwiesenfestival. Pours mid gold, the head soon departed, taste is malty with some cereal, also a little bit yeasty. Not too much in the way of bitterness, a little rustic in character but pleasant nonetheless. Fine.

We visited here Thursday 21st August 2025, it was somewhere to head to, to escape the persistent rain and there was very little else happening near Dornstadt (Nr Ulm). We are headed to the nearby Ulm Obstwiesenfestival which starts today in Dornstadt. Anyway this place, it's lovely, very friendly, very old school. There were 8-10 older men here sharing beers and discussing, Israel, Ukraine and even England at one point got mentioned, they were having a good time. Inside it is super clean and tidy, simple wooden tables that are incredibly heavy, a wooden bench all around the outside of the room, there is an adjacent room that you can see into. Food was simple but popular, drinks reasonably priced in fact all beers were 4.20€, the core range of bottles were available for taking away. Staff were very friendly and service quick. It's a little bit like going back in time where conversation rules and televisions and electronic gadgets are absent, that said I did charge up my phone and and we sorted out our Bundesliga Fantasy Football Teams. Really liked this place, cannot comment on beer yet as I was driving so had a non alcoholic beer and Loz on Radler, but I did pick up the core range to take away.

Can courtesy of Marko, cheers Marko! Consumed at home sat on the patio Monday 18th August 2025 cooking Greek Meatballs with Orzo for tea.
Pours mid hazy gold with a mid sized white head. Citrusssy, mostly lemon on the nose but also there's a maltiness. Taste following a similar trajectory, pleasant hoppy bite. This is a grower. first thought was, yeah this is fine, but it turns out to be actually really a very decent IPL, like it.

Can picked up from the Tourist Information Museum shop (that sells a lot of beers) Plzeń, Czech Republic. Had this sat in Frank in the car park at Gaststätte Hirschbräu Leipheim, Wednesday 20th August 2025, we're en route to Ulm Obstwiesenfestival. Pours light/mid amber, mostly clear, mid sized white head. A little resinous, sticky with some bitterness that slowly builds. You can tell that it's American inspired, and by and large it makes a good fist of it, however it just needs to up the IBUs a tad, I guess Sierra Nevada Bigfoot is the benchmark here, but like I said, good effort.

On tap at Gaststätte Hirschbräu Leipheim, Wednesday 20th August 2025 stayiing in the brewery carpark en route to Ulm Obstwiesenfestival. Pours very dark brown, mahogany just about see through it, however I believe it's unfiltered so there is a natural haze, there is a off white head. Soft mouthfeel, malty with a smoothness and a little zip of cola. Nice, v.nice. all three beers have been very decent.

On tap at Gaststätte Hirschbräu Leipheim, Wednesday 20th August 2025 stayiing in the brewery carpark en route to Ulm Obstwiesenfestival. Pours hazy mid yellow with a large creamy white head. Classic Hefeweisse, lovely banana touches both on the nose and in the mouth, nice spritzy but also soft mouthfeel, a little creamy, very good.
