On tap at Gaststätte Hirschbräu Leipheim, Wednesday 20th August 2025 stayiing in the brewery carpark en route to Ulm Obstwiesenfestival. Pours hazy yellow with a large foamy white head, nice soft mouthfeel. There's a nice gentle bitterness but well balanced with a pleasant maltiness, creaminess in the mouth, a touch dry at the end, it's very pleasant.

Bottle picked up from Apfel Getränke, Moosburg and consumed at home sat on the swinging chair at the top of the garden Monday 18th August 2025. We have Greek Meatballs with Orzo for tea. A little malty on the nose with some light grassy hoppiness. Light/mid gold in colour with a mid sized white head. In the mouth lacking a crispness, grassy hoppiness shows again, it's fine but all told a little bit forgettable.

Can that I picked up from Drankgigant.nl, webshop Vlissingen, Netherlands, consumed in the company of Jude and Baz at Camping Leutasch, Austria, Sunday 17th August 2025 after a day in Telfs and Seefeld in Tirol. We had homemade burgers for tea They were great, we're listening to a playlist that I put together. Pours pitch black with a small/mid sized beige head, though we're in subdued lighting mode in the camper so difficult to be really accurate on this front. Taste is chocolate, coconut, yep lots of coconut, similarities with a bounty bar here. However there is a heavy and slightly cloying sweetness which is hard to get past. It's a decent big hitter from the Dutch masters but another Imperial Stout which is overwhelmingly sweet.

Can that I picked up from Beyond Beer, webshop, Hamburg, consumed in the company of Jude and Baz at Camping Leutasch, Austria, Sunday 17th August 2025 after a day in Telfs and Seefeld in Tirol. We had homemade burgers for tea They were great, listening to Antony Szmierek, The Service Station at the End of the Universe. Pours gold with a white head, actually it's hazy gold. Light citrus notes, and a touch resinous. Flavour follows a similar trajectory, with the addition of some sweet orange. Bitterness is fine but could be better, malty body but this also could be more robust, good but not without a few things that could improve it.

We had homemade burgers for tea they we're great, listening to Antony Szmierek, The Service Station at the End of the Universe. Pours hazy mid gold with a large white head, the trademark Jaipur touches are there but perhaps a little of that hoppy instancy is lost. This is altogether a little more different, a pithiness here from the addition of the pink grapefruit clearly that key difference. I like this, not necessarily better than the original but very good in its own way.

Can courtesy of Jude and Baz (I think Jude chose this) they picked it up from Hereford Beer House. We had this sat outside Frank, in the company of Jude and Baz, Sunday 17th August 2025. Pours lemony colour with a large white head, soft mouthfeel, a little bit on the sweet side but otherwise quite authentic. Perhaps could be a bit more bitter and dry, but more juicy, there's a pleasant citrus vibe.

Can that I picked up from Drankgigant.nl webshop, Vlissingen, Netherlands or maybe it was Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg, I forget which. Drinking this sat outside Frank at Camping Leutasch Austria, Saturday 16th August 2025. Pours light/mid gold with a white ahead. Fruity with a good sweetness and bitterness that comes through. Really nice, pleasant light boozy hit, overipe fruit. V.nice.

Can courtesy of Baz, he picked this up from Hereford Beer House, consumed in the company of Jude and Baz at Camping Leutasch, Austria, Saturday 16th August 2025. Bottle at home. Yeah this as Baz predicted is a monster of a beer, burnt bitter slabs of caramel, big thick mouthfeel. Wow this is a bitter Impy', in terms of the bitterness for a non IPA it reminds me of Sierra Nevada Bigfoot. The appearance is pitch black, there's a little roasty coffee, chocolate and the aforementioned caramel. I like it, it's very good beer, but wowsers that bitterness is a real punch and one that instantly tempers the sweetness.
