On tap at Forschungsbrauerei München, Thursday 17th July 2025. Not sure why Forschungsbrauerei München are selling Hopfen Häcker beers as well as their own, maybe they have some dual arrangement? Tbf I didn't actually realise that this was a Hopfen Häcker beer until after I ordered it and then went to check it out and add it if necessary, being served in a Hopfen Häcker glass as well confirmed it. Looks fantastic, light/mid gold, slightly hazy, large creamy textured white head. As the name suggests the taste is a little floral, nice middling bitterness, actually a pleasant bittersweet balance, soft mouthfeel, the end is becoming dry. It's a lovely beer, perfect temperature, looks great, tastes great, aroma is a bit subdued but all told it really ticks all the right boxes.

Can picked up from (forgot where?) however done a search through emails and beer orders and not there, so must have been an in store purchase. Actually I reckon that I picked this up from Bierothek in Fürth. Consumed sat in Frank at the Freising P&R in the campervan area, Wednesday 16th July 2025. Pours pitch black, shark eye black with a tan, actually a light beige mid sized brown head, chocolate on the nose, also some honey actually it's maple syrup. Similar in the mouth, plenty of chocolate, a bit of an artificial taint to it, ok but not really wowing me.

On tap at Sammamera Freising, Wednesday 16th July 2025. Pours light amber with a very slight haze and large creamy textured white head. Light maltiness on the nose, caramel and toffee also show. Similar in the mouth, there is a very light bitterness but it's mostly malt driven, soft mouthfeel, nice.

Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg (I think) consumed at Karl-Heinz Kapfhammer camping, Regenhütte, Saturday 12th July 2025 after a🚶🚶🏻‍♀️walk from campsite along the Große Regen River to Grenzland-Fest Zwiesel and back🚶‍➡️🚶🏻‍♀️‍➡️. Listening to the new album by Big Special. Pours gold, with a mid sized off white head, hazy. The nose is a little resinous and with a little sprinkle of citrus, malty also. The taste following a similar trajectory, bitterness there but could be more pronounced, decent but bettered by the earlier beer I had.

Bottle picked up from Walther Mai München and consumed at home sat out in the garden Sunday 13th July 2025 after a short walk to/from Schöfweg Volksfestival and a weekend locally hiking from Regenhütte between Zwiesel and Bayerisch Eisenstein. Pours dirty yellow/gold with a large white head, tangy, a little tart, citrus, primarily grapefruit, sweetened grapefruit, drinks far easier than an 8.5% beer should, nice but could have a bit more about it.

On tap at the taphouse opposite the brewery on the day the Granzfest starts, Saturday 12th July 2025 after an 11-12 km hike along the river from Regenhütte. Pours clear gold, excellent clarity, good sized white head, nice festbier, super nice, more 'ish' easy drinking, nice sweetness, light fruity. Really good

Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg (I think) consumed at Karl-Heinz Kapfhammer camping, Regenhütte, Friday 11th July 2025 after a🚶🚶🏻‍♀️walk from campsite along the Große Regen River to Bayerisch Eisenstein and back🚶‍➡️🚶🏻‍♀️‍➡️. Listening to Afrodeutscha on 6Music. Pours gold, light gold actually, not far off being clear, slim/mid sized white head, sticky, lacing. Very good beer, nice bitterness that really creeps up, a little sweetness perhaps even a touch of honey but a building bitterness snubs it out. A little citrus and pithy edge, this is a lovely beer.
