Draught keg at Tønne, Leicester. Light gold, pretty hazy with a small uneven white head and lots of lacing. Light aroma here with notes of pineapple and grapefruit. Taste is more engaging with a lovely initial flavour combination of vanilla and cracked wheat, delving more deeply into the hop immediately afterward. Short finish. Watery body. It everything I'd want from a session IPA but at 40% the intensity. It's okay but not really feeling it.

Keg draught at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Dark brown, mostly opaque with a swirl of brown head. Aroma of freshly made caramel, chocolate and cinnamon. Lots of cinnamon. Sweet, sweet taste, loads more cinnamon here, with a hop bitterness nearer the finish. Thick body with very little carbonation. Absolutely lovely.

Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Light yellow gold and hazy. Strong dank aroma of white grapefruit, a little bit of tropical fruit. Taste is fairly bitter, loads of hop oil on the back of rhe tongue in the finish. Light body with soft to nil carbonation. Cones together very nicely, not so much personality but a lot of class.

Keg draught at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester as part of their Otter Brewery takeover. Mid-gold, hazy with a swirl of off-white head. Light aroma with juicy citrus and some tropical fruits like melons and pineapple. Ambrosial taste: sweet, juicy and bittersweet. Finish is more bitter and surprisingly dry. Medium body for the ABV with intense carbonation. Great stuff!

Handpull cask at the Two-Tailed Lion. Light reddish brown and clear with a small beige head. Light malty aroma, loads of sweet caramel, Garibaldi biscuits. Taste is sweet at first, almost cloying, but turning nicely bitter at the right moment. Bitter finish. Pretty thick, syrupy body with soft to no carbonation. Love this.

Keg Draught at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester as part of their Otter Brewery takeover. Very dark brown, only a bit translucent with a small beige head and good lacing. Aroma of espresso and black malts. Intense. Taste is sweet with the bitterness of strong over-roasted coffee, with a hint of blackberry. Lingering gritty bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body with carbonation slightly on the heavy side. Wow, was not expecting this.

Keg draught at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester as part of their Otter Brewery takeover. Light gold and clear with a smattering of white head and lacing down the glass. Typical lager aroma, grainy, hay, maybe a hint of lemon, slightly corny. Sweet taste, a bit saccharine with some grain notes. Diet soda aftertaste. Light body, very well-carbonated. Meh.
