Sample during the "Uber-Kurt (10,000) Celebration" on 12/13/2014. Brown-black pour with a thin khaki head that dissipates quickly to a film. Sparse small patches of lacing on the glass. Bourbon, oak, malt and chocolate in the nose. Full-bodied with an oaky bourbon character and notes of chocolate fudge, anise and charred malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Very good beer overall.

On draught during the Weird Al show at Fraze Pavilion. Hazy orange color with a medium frothy bone white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stingy lace. Grassy hop, tropical fruit and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, tropical and stone fruit, and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample during "Ellen's Blue Hair Birthday Bonanza!" on 12/12/2014. The beer pours a slightly cloudy bright yellow-orange color with a medium thick and creamy white head that diminishes slowly. Sticky rings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, yeast and herbs. Medium body with a partly funky character of semi-sour fruit, yeast, grassy hops and spices. Surprisingly no pine tar. The finish is tart and fruity with a lingering farmhouse funk left behind. Enjoyable all around.
