Can from House Of Trembling Madness. hazy golden body with an off/white head. No visible carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of orange and wine gums. Flavour of dried mango and straw. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A solid DIPA, not one of Track’s very best though.

Can from Lupe Pintos. Golden body with a light haze and a thin white head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of lime chutney and waxed lemon. Flavour of orange rind and pine. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. A decent west coast IPA.

Flavour of steel and grassy hops. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A crisp, grassy lager with a very good body and mouthfeel for the ABV.

Bottle (2020 vintage) from Wee Vault. Murky amber/brown body with a thin beige head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of prune, red grapes and caramel. Flavour of red wine, toffee and berries. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Well rounded and (slightly disappointingly) subtle.

Can from The Beer Cave. Hazy pale golden body with a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine needles and lavender. Flavour of grapefruit and lemon zest. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. This is very good - one of the best west coast IPAs I’ve had in a while.

Flavour of lemon sweets and chalky malt. Medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. Crisp and nicely hoppy.

Can from Aldi. Clear golden body with a thick white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and fresh lemon. Flavour of orange barley and dough. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. The aroma is bright and zesty and almost carries through to the flavour. Overall it’s pretty solid.

Can from Aldi. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of peach Angel delight and lemon sponge. Flavour of lemon drops and peach. Medium to full body with a chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Tangy and boozy.

Can from Drinkmonger. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of melon, dried grass and orange. Flavour of lemon and orange pith. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A tasty, if slightly muted IPA.
