For me one proper and honest beer review is more worth than 100 ticks without any relevant content. It’s all about respect for the beer and the craftmanship behind. I will always try to do my best for a proper rating than playing the number game.

Can @ Patricks. Clear dark brown, almost black body under a beige head. Aroma of dark malt, chocolate, tonka and some perfume. Taste is sweet, dark malt, dark chocolate, tonka, dry fruit, oak, slightly sour berries and warming alcohol with moderate bitterness. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Quite nice.

Backlog August 2006. Unclear golden body with some floaters under an off-white head. Aroma is malty with dry fruits, spices and alcohol. Tatse is sweet and malty with dry fruits, but still feels quite refreshing, some spicy belgium yeast, some fruity acidity and warming alcohol. Fine body with pleasant aftertaste. Nice, tasty and surprisingly easy drinklable this one.

Backlog 2006. Copper golden body under a beige head. Aroma has malt and caramel. Taste is sweet with malt and caramel and not much more. This is a not very elegant amber lager. One dimesnional and rather boring stuff.

Backlog 2006. It’s actually and old classic one this. Nohing spescial, no faults, a bit neutral but still an easy going macro lager with some darker malt profile.

Bottle @ Home. Dark brown body under a moderate sized beige head. Aroma of light roasted, dark malt, milk chokolate and cherry with a hint of vanilla. Taste is smooth, sweet dark malt, not much roasting, some choklate and sweet and slightly acidic cherry. Hint of vanilla and low bitternerss. Medium body with a sweet and slightly sour kind of aftertaste. Quite pleasant with a rich taste in accoranse with the low alcohol.

Tap @ Patricks. Unclear pale golden body under a dense, lacing white head. Nice aroma, light fruity with distinct oranges, some citric fruit and spicy yeast. Taste is sweet, pale malt, rather soft and smooth, oranges, generic citric fruit, spicy yeast and low bitterness. Balanced body with a refreshing aftertaste. A bit sweet, but it still feels very refreshing. Nice innovative take on a slightly boring style. Nice and refreshing.
