Can @ home. Unclear golden body under a fine, big, dense white head. Mild but nice aroma, light malt and slightly floral and a citric touch. Taste is malt driven, smooth, mild malt, hint of biscuit with fruity hop bitterness. Balanced body and pleasant aftertaste. A nice and well-made version of a blonde, delicate subtle qualities with perhaps a bit more bitterness than typical for a blonde. Suits me fine, how fare can you go with a blonde?

Backlog August 2016. Almost clear golden body under a big, creamy white head. Light fruity, yeasty aroma with some citric fruit. Taste is refreshing fruity, a bit subtle with hint of wheat and spices with a floral touch. Medum body with pleasant aftertaste. Nice saison.

Backlog August 2016. Clear pale golden body under a fine, lacing white head. Nice, refreshing fruity aroma, some acidity and really not much left of the beer in aroma. Taste is super refreshing, acidic lemon and fruity with a hint of yeast. Medium body and same aftertaste. Easy drinkable and all over very refreshing fruit beer without so much beer flavor.

Backlog August 2016. Bottle. Clear, dark golden body under a big, dense tan head. Aroma is malty with some cellar notes. Taste is sweet and malty, some caramel and dry fruit, OK bitterness. Fine body and same aftertaste. Decent, quite straight forward.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden body under a nice, lacing off-white head. Aroma has clean malt and ripe citric fruits. Taste is smooth, sweet malt, some citric fruit, hint of toffee and balanced bitterness. Medium body with smooth and slightly bitter aftertaste. A fine, straight forward easy drinkable classic beer in the crossing between pale ale and IPA.

Tap @ the brewpub. Dark brown, very close to black body under a fine, lacing beige head. Aroma has dark, medium roasted malt, pine with hint of coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, dark, smooth roasted malt, some pine, hint of dark chocolate and bitter expresso coffe with a decent and balanced bitterness. Balanced body with a slightly roasted and pleasant bitter aftertaste. A pretty straight forward, pleasant black IPA.

Taste is smooth, soft, mild roasted malt, bread, nuts, hint of chocolate and some fruity bitterness. Well balanced body, balanced in taste and very easy drinkable with a distinct flavor. All over a fine sample of this lager style this is.
