A touch of hazy golden. Light yeast, fruit, spices, banana-adjacent notes. Medium bodied. Finish has a bit of a spicy bite. Solid brew.

Golden. Sweet with light spice. Full bodied. Finish has yeast. It’s decent but nothing special.

Golden with a white head. Earthy, musty apartment, some citrus, old moisture. Medium body with a slight bite. A bit simple but nice.

A bucket list beer for me- I just didn’t think the first time I had it would be from a bottle shop in Amsterdam.
Golden copper with a white head. Malt driven upfront with spicy hops in the back. Toasted malt, light caramel followed by zesty, spicy earth forward hops. The finish is sharp with good spice. Medium body with heavy carbonation. Very enjoyable and quite drinkable. A classic for a reason!

Lively on a Saturday night. Friendly service. The living room feel is nice and comfy but the pub has definitely been used and abused. Feels rundown and in need of some sprucing. The pretzel was good. The beer selection had a wide selection of German styles. Draught was in good form and the Lager was clean and well poured. I liked the place and would go back for some German beers.

Black. Deep notes with roasted malts, liquorice, burnt malt, earth, coffee grounds, tobacco. Medium full body. Finish lingers with roasted coffee. Lovely.

Medium hazy golden with a white head. Malt forward with citrus, tropical bits, and some pine. Full bodied. Soft and flabby. A miss.
