very dark brown with a tan head. Medium to full body. Roasted malt, spice, licorice, and a high degree of hop notes. I find the hops, malt and spice don’t play well together. Finish is a touch sweet. Doesn’t work for me.

Medium copper red with a tan head. Malty with pine, resin, and fruity notes. Finish has a pleasant bitterness. Surprisingly light though full of the classic hoppy amber goodness. Enjoyable.

A nice pub down a narrow walkway. Worn in wood interior with an old world feel. We sat outside and watched the people drift by with a couple brews and it was a great way to wind down a late evening. Wife had a Cantillon while I snagged a dark mild. Service was friendly and very good. Solid place and worth a stop.

Black with a tall beige head. Big notes of roasted malt, dark burnt sugars, burnt malt, earthy, bittersweet dark chocolate. Medium to full body. Dry, bitter and burnt finish. Dry, bitter and delicious.

Very dark with ruby highlights. Bold cherry notes with chocolate, light sour cherry, some faint roasted malt. Medium to full body. Finish has sour cherry and noticeable sweetness. It’s a fine beer and a fun one to try.

Medium brown with a pillowy tan head. Chocolate, roasty malt, earthy, bitter burnt notes. Medium, soft body. Finish is lightly burnt bitter malt with some bitter hops, too. A solid, bitter forward brown ale.

I thought I grabbed a different beer on the Utrecht platform, yet here I am.

Very sweet grain forward. Light notes of toast. Full bodied. Finish is alcohol and sweetness. Not worth your time u less you wanna get a cheap drink on.

Not a good brew.
