Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazed orange gold. Suds of white. Triple Points beers haven’t had decent swedes lately. Maybe it’s a by product of the gluten free thing. Anyway. Super fruity peachy notes. Bit of ripe pear. Clean malts. Taste is surprisingly bitter and lightly dry. Drinks well under the ABV. Juicy bitterness to finish. Triple Point do their best work when they do stuff out of the ordinary.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Doesn’t look how I’d expected. Hazed yellow gold. Slim dense lasting semi lacing white foam. A bit wheat beer-esque in appearance. Nose has buttered toast malts. Leafy floral verging on honeyed hop character. Taste is quite bitter with a moderate sweetness. Easy drinking overall. Bitter leafy finish.

Bottle via the online shop. Not a looker. Dirty ginger colour with not much of a head. Nose is big on the Bordeaux barrel. New suede shoes. Lots of ripe stone fruit. Honey addition comes across like spring flower derived. Juicy on the palate. Juicy tangy finish.

Another Mills I missed. Rating off UT. This from the 3rd check in. Twanged up to the nines. Losing that Duvel like sweetness. Constantly evolving no doubt. Every one has been like a different bev. Beauty.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazed glowing gold. Loose white suds. Nose has peach stone. Yellow melon skin. Some pulped orange and sweet lemon. Clean dry malts. Taste is semi sweet with a punchy zesty bitterness. Clean and easy drinking. Decent body. Bitter finish dries out at the close. Another solid offering. Some good easy drinking pale ales coming out of sunny Sheffield at the minute.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. 4.6% (ignore the 4.4 in the pic). Hazy yellow gold. Fairly loose white swede that just about lasts the course. Nice fruit here. Notes of peach and ripe apricot. Fleshy ripe orange. Bit of mango (as per the bumf). Clean malts. Taste has some sweetness but has a decent bitterness overall. Easy drinking affair with light dry and light bitterness to finish. Solid tackle.
