Bottle. No idea where from. Mostly clear gold. Sturdy just off white foam. Big on the baked apple. Some sappy wood. Bit of a fresh suede slipper thing. A little fusel. Taste has some sweetness with some oaky bitterness. Not as refined on the palate as other Boerenerf as it stands. More of the fusel thing to finish. Probably best left a bit.

Bottle. Welbeck Farm Shop. Best sausages ever. Black in the glass. Messy leggy beige foam. Mentions molasses have been added to this. Well, they’re not kidding. There’s some vine fruit and roast malt but mostly it’s a mess of sticky smoky ashtray molasses nonsense. Jesus how much went in? Can’t be arsed. Hard work.

375ml job. No idea where from. Missus opened this after kicking off with a Berliner Weisse. Brioche baked apple funk tarty juicy oaky job. Tasting notes courtesy of said missus.

Bottle. Kernel online I think. Clear gold. Slim ring of white bubbles. Nose has lots of rhubarb. Light oaky whiff. Wheat. Taste has a flicker of sweetness but mostly it’s tart dry and fairly acidic. Lean and clean with low to medium carbonation. Tart tang finish verging on sharp acidity. Ok but too sharp overall for the lack of body and mouthfeel.

Can. Drove Orchards probably. Been sat in the fridge ages and is now 6 months beyond BBD. Still looks good though. Misted glowing gold. Slim dense lasting white foam. Nose has wheat and light oats. Whiff of yer Belgian yeast. Touch of flora. Touch of spice from the pepper. Taste has soft wheaty sweetness and a bit of hoppy bitterness. Clean and highly refreshing with rolling foamy carbonation. Crisp semi dry semi bitter finish.

Bottle via the online shop. Murked up glowing gold. Not too much of a head. Nose is super intense. Smells like a bag of hops. Taste is similarly hoppy with high hoppy leafy bitterness. Slick overall with low carbonation. Probably needs a couple of weeks to liven up. Hoppy bitter finish. You get what’s promised here.
