Can direct from the brewery. It pours clear yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is zingy, tangy lime, lime sherbet, salty cracker, spicy margarita, bread and subdued spice. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, quite spicy, perhaps overly so, chilli heats you way more than the aroma, peppery burn which lingers, crackery malt, spicy margarita vibes and pithy lime with a longer chilli burn average body and moderate carbonation. Love the idea of this, but think the chilli needs toning down to increase the drinkability.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. It pours darkest brown with a rugged deep tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, much jammier than expected, raspberry jam thickly spread on toasted brown bread, jam rolly poly, banana split, toasted brown sugars, dried fruits, raisin, currant, fruit cake, cacao nibs, malt loaf and molasses. The taste is dry roasted malt upfront, bitter - sweet, burnt toast, charred, loads of dried fruits, raisin, currant, banana, banana bread, warming booze, snap of spice, touch of umami, marzipan bananas split, toasted brown bread and some coffee grounds with a warming finale. Fulsome body and fairly high, foamy carbonation. Didn't realise this was a 12%er, feels like it though! Pleasing boost ale.

Can picked up at Aldi, Countesswells Road Aberdeen. It pours clear blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, tangy, bright peachy vibes, apricot, vanilla, peach cobbler and tinned mango. The taste is crisp, dry, puckering, zingy, tangy, vanilla natural yoghurt, sour peach, apricot, tinned mango, sherbet and sour candy with a dry, puckering finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Like the balance to this. Moreish.

Can picked up at Tesco Danestone. It pours clear pale gold with a decent frothy white head. The aroma is sweet, intoxicating guava, sherbet dib dab, pic n mix and candy. The taste is less sweet, crisp, dry, pretty clean, sherbety fruits, fizzy candy, pic n mix and guava candy with a dry, snappy finish. Light to average body and moderate+ fizzy carbonation. It's fair, it's not in your face artificial thankfully, but it rests on the side of being too sweet. Passable.

Can from an Aldi in Abz. It pours darkest brown to black with a bubbly tan head. The aroma is earthy roast, coffee grounds, nuttiness, some praline, dull toffee and toasty brown sugars. The taste is dry roast upfront, earthy, coffee grounds, filter coffee, dull acidity from the coffee, bitter - sweet vibes, toasted nuts and brown sugar with a dry, roasted coffee finale. Average body and moderate carbonation. Decent, but think it would be better with more body.

500ml bottle from Huntly Farmers Market. It pours hazy blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is musty, funky dirt, poopy, sweet, crunchy pear, pear skin and a drizzle of honey. The taste is crisp initially, crunchy pear, quite a bit sweeter than their apple ciders, poached pear, melon, white grape, honey, boiled sweets,.musty, sweet manure and barnyard filth with a short, dry finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Nice a bit more zing/tartness/acidity to elevate it. Decent enough, but not their best offering.
