Can from Rosemount market, Aberdeen. It pours gold with medium fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, freshly baked bread, fruit pie crust, brioche, porridge and custard cream biscuits. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, grassy, herbal accents, some pleasing bitterness, toasty grains, cereal, touch of nuttiness, fragrant, floral, bread and the snap of a fresh biscuit. Finish is drying. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Brew Toon's best lager. Fresh, flavourful and crushable.

Keg at Fierce Bar, Aberdeen. It pours murky strawberry pink with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, tangy, creamy strawberry milkshake, jammy, candy floss and jelly beans. The taste is crisp initially, crunchy red berries, fragrant strawberry vibes, damp grain, wheat bread, fragrant, strawberry milkshake and a touch sherbet with a dry finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Easy going fruity number. Has some nice nuances to it.

Keg at Fierce Abz. It pours lightly hazy deep pink with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, rip, crunchy cherry, cherry pie, cherry drops, jammy and white sugar. The taste is sweet - sour, juicy, tangy, mellow sourness, ripe crunchy cherry, cherry pie, musty, dull funk, dry oak, tannin and muted alcohol presence with a drying finish. Average body and soft carbonation. Mellow and easy going. I would've preferred a touch more tartness tbh, but it's enjoyable nonetheless.

Keg at Krakatoa, Aberdeen. It pours murky, muddy amber with a decent white head. The aroma is sweet, sugary, jammy, stewed berries, jam donut, perfumed and pic n mix. The taste is sweet - sour, juicy, tangy, jammy, plenty of berry, berry skin, jam donut and cakey malts with a drying finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not really sure about this. It's not as sweet as it sounds on paper, which is a good thing.

Swing top bottle from polish deli on George St Aberdeen. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is musty, damp, spent grain, spice, nuttiness, paper, some sweetness and wet grass. The taste is dry, crisp, damp grass, cardboard, paper, damp grass, spice, nutty, woody, stale and pencil shavings with a dry, grainy finish. Average body and high, foamy carbonation. Like the branding, but it's disappointing. Feels a bit grainy and stale. Meh.

Cask handpull from St Machar Bar, Aberdeen. It pours crystal clear pale gold with a sturdy white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, fragrant, green fruits, white grape, gooseberry, greengage, melon, citrus peel and biscuit. The taste is crisp, dry, quite light and mellow, fragrant, floral, pithy, clean malt base, touch of biscuit, green fruits, gooseberry, greengage and melon with a dry, floral finale. Light body and soft carbonation. Easy drinker, but lacks a bit of punch.
