Can from Fujii Daimaru. Pale pastel gold, hazy, with a thick, tall head. Tropical fruit aroma from hops, also a bit dank, some citrus, grapefruit and orange, lime, wheat biscuits, a touch of pineapple. Resiny flavor, a bit dank, orange, wheat and oats, lime, grapefruit. Easy drinking, crisp, and flavorful.

Can from Seijo Ishii. Bright gold. big, fruity hop nose, lots of orange, grapefruit, and tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, some pine. Biscuity malt. Some what sweet, biscuity flavor, tropical fruit and citrus. Quite flavorful and packs a big punch for 5.5%.

Can from Yamaya. Seems these are pasteurized. Big American hop nose: citrus, dankness, herbal resins, tropical fruit, a touch of something gin-like. I can just barely sense a lager character beneath. Slightly hazy pastel yellow with a tall, rocky head. Big hop flavor, resins, citrus, grapefruit, white grape, crackery malt. Bitter, crisp finish. Light and crisp on the palate. Not really a pilsner, but the lager character is there, is vastly overshadowed by the hops. Decent, though I get just a touch of DMS hiding in there behind the hops.

Bottle. Medium blonde, slightly cloudy, high, airy head. A bit oxidized, honey malts, yeasty, hay, esters. Medium sweet, thought it might be Belgian blonde actually, a bit yeasty, peaches, citrus. Ok.
