Kyotolefty Profile

Tap at the KBC 10th anniversary festival. Clear golden. Bright Kiwi hop nose, lots of citrus, white grape, and spicy funk. Malt is clean but slightly fruity. Flavor is big on the hops, honey malt. As they say, it doesn't taste much like a lager, could be a pale ale, the hops are huge. Tasty stuff.

Tap at the KBC 10th anniversary. Light amber color, citrus, some resin, malty. A bit old school and decent, good but not great.

Tap at the Kyoto Brewing 10th anniversary. Medium gold, almost flat. Nose is funky, sour grapes and lactic acid, citrus, grapefruit, bretty funk. Flavor is acidic, lactic, vanilla, barnyard, grapes, citrus. Mild but subtle and complex. Very nice.

Tap at Kyoto Brewing 10th anniversary. Black with a nice head. Bready, malt nose, no chocolate or caramel. Clean, crisp flavor, rich in grainy malts but not sweet, hoppy, bitter finish. Great.

Tap at Kyoto Brewing 10th anniversary. Almost blond, just a bit of amber, full head. Great smoky nose, just like from Bamberg. Bready but no caramel. flavor is clean bready malts and lots of smoke, no caramel or amber malt flavors. quite clean and lovely.

Tap at Kyoto Brewing 10th anniversary. Slightly amber-ish gold, nice head. nose is big Saaz hops, piny, herbal, spicy, and clean malt. Flavor is clean malt, not big, but bready, lovley hops, herbal and bitter. A great beer.
