Poured from a 375 ml bottle dated November 28, 2018. Aroma is full of classic Boon funk. Lots of lemon, herbal funk and light earthy notes. Faint oak, stonefruit, light grain notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a somewhat hazy, copper-gold with a medium sized, thick, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Faint lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat acidic with a light sweetness and light grain notes. Light bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderate lemon and herbal funk with lighter notes of earthy funk and horse blanket. Faint stone fruit and oak notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol notes. Overall, a really solid geuze. Loads of classic Boon character in the aroma, but in typical Boon fashion the flavor isn't quite as robust.

Poured from a 375 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly fruity with quite a bit of pineapple, cherry pie, grape and grape must, and stone fruit. Light malt notes with light oak. Light earthy, herbal funk notes. Pours a slightly hazy, copper color with a medium large, thick, white head that recedes to a small film that lingers thicker on the edges. No lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with moderate acidity. Light grain notes, low bitterness and a hint of alcohol. Medium light oak notes. Lots of cherry pie, grapes and grape must, and stone fruit with light lemon notes. Light earthy, herbal funk. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice lambic and probably my favorite from the box so far. Solid fruity notes with good musty, earthy herbal funk. Decently balanced oak notes as well.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color Lambic with large white foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of funky ester with some tart notes with some oak notes also perceptible. Taste is also a good mix of funky ester with some tart notes and some oak is also noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Great mix of complex funky notes while retaining some very good drinkability.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color lambic with a nice white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some light funky barnyard notes are also perceptible. Taste is a mix light funky barnyard notes with some oak and barnyard notes and a dry finish with some acidic notes also perceptible. Body is average for style with good carbonation. Very enjoyable and more acidic then regular Boon but not to a degree that reduces drinkability.
