Bottle. New Holland Dragon's Milk Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout. Color: Black, thin beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate, Bourbon. Taste: Roasted malt, sweet chocolate, pretty strong vanilla and Bourbon. hints of coffee and smoke. Bit harsh boozy. Medium to over medium sweet, moderate to medium bitter. Over medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice one, but no winner because it's lacking some balance and body in my opinion.

Draft sampled @ BeerTemple. Black, creamy mocha head. Nose is vanilla, sugar, coconut milk. Taste is sweet cacao, mocha, coconut flakes, sugar, very sweet & coconut forward somehow nice beer, could use a bit more body but already very tasty.

355ml bottle. Black with a tan head. Aroma of bourbon, oak, vanilla. Taste of overwhelming bourbon, oak, some chocolate and vanilla, roast malts, the bourbon is so heavy handed though it drowns out everything else. Medium body, slightly thinner than expected, soft carbonation. Good beer, I like it, but there's much more their claimed hints of bourbon, which I assume must be sarcasm as it's massively in your face.

Lots of bourbon. Good stout, tasty, bourbon, perfectly acceptable. Maybe a bit thin and one-dimensional. Good, not great.

Draught @ Yardhouse, Las Vegas. Heavy, roasty and earthy with some hints of oak, wood, coffee, chocolate and bourbon. Pretty good.

6/10/2018. Bottle from New Beer Distributors, New York. Pours black with a beige coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, coconut, fruit, bourbon. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation.
