Draft at Barrelhouse 101. Black with a medium, heavy lacing, tan head. Nose is chocolate, coffee, and roast. Flavor is chocolate, vanilla, white pepperiness and coffee.

Black colour, tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, caramel, chocolate. Light sweet flavour, bitter, roasted malts, lots of coffee. Finish coffee and bitter chocolate.

On tap. Pours a very dark reddish brown with light tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate powder and roasted malts. Flavors of black coffee, ash, and bitter chocolate. Dry. ABV well covered,

Shared by Maek at a dark beer tasting, it poured a dark black with a brown head. The aroma was nutty, bitter chocolate with some coffee & umami notes. A med-full body gave me roasty coffee plus chocolate flavors with some umami savouriness. Not bad but probably the most standard stout of the night.

Bouteille 66cl, courtesy of Ibrew2or3. Brune foncée, col épais moka. Arôme est chocolaté très dominant, notes caramel et grillées. Peu en terme de houblon et une bière de type Imp. stout qui fait force au niveau des malts. Palais est similaire avec une dominance des malts, grillé, chocolat et grains le tout sur un fini procurant une amertume houblonnée fort agréable. Le tout reste porté sur des notes de café présentent à chaque gorgée.

65 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2014. Courtesy of & thx! to Sebletitje. Black with a mocha head. Sweet touch boozy nose, liquorish, syrup, hint molasses, caramel, mocha. Taste is sweet, malty, toffee, mocha, touch liquorish, plenty of mocha. m/m body. Simple, nothing earth shattering but very substantial never the less.

Clear dark brown to black beer, aery irregular beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: grains, bit dirty, some chlorine, caramel, sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of chocolate, toast, mocha, grains, bit hoppy, coffee, very dry. Aftertaste: hoppy, bitter ending, mocha, coffee, charcoal, little fruity.

22oz bomber pours with an inky black void like body that supports a nice looking mocha colored head. The aroma offers up thin dark roasted malts, thick chocolate malts and then some chocolate brownie notes. Yummers. The taste is smooth and velvety with a Mel Tormé sort of silkiness. I get velvety fog like smooth melted chocolate bar mixing with rich oily dark roasted coffee, dark roasted malts and then sweet chocolate brownie. This is hitting the spot right now. Rich, roasty and chocolate? I say yes.
