This rich and sophisticated golden tripel has earned several international titles thanks to its refined taste marked by notes of grains, fruit and spice, supported by a slight bitterness.
It is a tribute to Quebec, the land encountered by 16th-century French explorers who thought they’d reached the end of the world.

Been checking lately, and it seems there is a million of my go to beers that I've never rated. How can that be? La Fin is one. Mild sweet malt, lots of esters, some banana.a little clove. Tasty.

Bottle from Total Wine & More, St Petersburg. I used to drink this quite a lot about 20-25 years ago. The pour is a very bright yellow-gold with a tiny, tiny ring of white head. Yeasty aroma, sweet spice, sourdough, candy sugar in the aroma. Taste is seriously sweet, with notes of honey and brown sugar syrup with very light bitterness on the long finish. It isn't complicated and maybe a but too sweet but still a gorgeous Tripel.

Bottle. Clear golden pour with a medium sized white head that has good retention. The aroma is medium/light with Belgian yeasts, bit of caramel, something floral and a bit of salty spice. The taste, as in the aroma, showcases Belgian yeast, some mild white fruits and a bit of bitter pecans. The palate is full and creamy with soft carbonation. Overall: decent beer. I'm not really a fan of the Tripel style, but this one is worth checking out.

Bottle dated best before 12/08/24 A: Poured a dirty hazed medium gold with a 1 pillow of lasting foam. S: A bit wheaty, a bit yeasty with sweet apple and banana notes. T: The sweet yeast and dry wheat follow but now include tart citrus notes and a vinous grapey aspect. Pretty good balance. M: Smooth and delicate for the strength. Soft carbonation but light astringency. Dryish finish. O: Not a favorite style but quite nice overall. I get the allure.

Bottle ordered from Brew Cavern, Nottingham. Aroma is candi sweet with some citrus and a hint of booze. Clear gold. Bubbly body and Bubbly foamy white head. Medium boozy bitterness. Followed by a sugary streak which is balanced by citrus sourness. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Nice enough.

341 ml. bottle poured into a Trappist glass. Hazy golden amber colour with a dense lasting white head. Sweet aroma with yeasts, peaches, orange peel, spicy notes. Some tropical fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with a lively carbonation. Correct for the style. Drying rich fruity finish with yeasts. Nice Tripel - almost as good as the Belgian originals.

Very smooth, leaves a warmness the whole way down. Would be a great winter beer.
