It’s a blend of 1,2,3,4 year old lambic, taken from four foeders, and made especially for the Gooikoorts folk festival. The addition of four-year old lambic, makes it one of De Cam’s most complex beers. With a funky aroma, a distinct tartness, with flavors of green apples, horse blanket, apricots and citrus fruits. Karel says that beer is at it’s best after seven-years or more in the cellar.

Bottle from own cellar, shared with Remko B. Didn't take any notes but just like the 2018 edition this Gooikoorts has great complexity. Still (one of) the best 'ordinary' Geuzes I've had so far. Wonderful!

Отличный ламбик. Весьма сухой и травяной, кислота при этом весьма сильная и долгая на финише. Немного не хватает сена. Есть четкие зеленые яблоки.

750mL bottle, pours a clear bright golden orange with a large white head. Aroma is hugely fragrant, with tons of barnyard funk, lots of hay, and a touch of citrusy notes. Flavour has tons of barnyard funk, moderate hay, citrus, and petroleum jelly. Finishes moderately funky, with plenty of dry petroleum. Excellent.

Pale amber, with haze. Weak head. Good aroma, lemony, a bit of leather, and a sort of pear note. It's got a slight sweetness up front, but it gets quite dry in the finish. Light bugs, mellow fruit.

750mL bottle. Pours cloudy gold with a white head. Tons of funk on the nose; old furniture, mildewy upholstery, and must. Flavour has a lovely old musty character, woody, some tannins, mildew. Super complex and tons of funk. This is excellent.

6th Floor bottleshare with the usual suspects. Thanks to Dan. A light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Tangy guezey bright sour fruits. Little wood and dried fruits. Light dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Daniel. Pours slightly hazed orange-gold with a creamy, white head. Light sweet flavour, quite tart, funky, grassy, lemony bite. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Quenching finish, ample dry pale wood, grass, funk. Good stuff.
