Bottle. Pours opaque black, very small bubbly brown head, dissipates quickly, minimal lacing. Aroma is cocoa, vinous, molasses, scotch. Did I say vinous? Weird. Fully sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Weird.

Bottle courtesy of milsem. Pours viscous black with a very small dark mocha head that doesnät leave any trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and slightly vegetal with roasted malts, burnt bread, vanilla fudge, charred wood, green coffee, dark chocolate, green bell peppers, moist soil, roasted coconut, moist soil and alcohol. Taste is sweet, malty and tiny vegetal. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny viscous, slightly astringent, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, green coffee and bourbon barrel character. Decent but the coffee is off and too green bell pepper forward. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pallet #4 on 28 May 2016 at 23:13 - Score: 7. Original review text: Decent but the coffee is off and too green bell pepper forward.

22oz bottle pours a murky black with some cloudy, bubbly brown head. Nose has malt, dank coffee bean, mild smoke, a little chocolate ice cream, earthy. Flavor is even earthier, soil and soy, coffee, dark chocolate, turbinado sugar, some tamarind, pencil lead, a little ink. Full bodied, oily, inky finish.

Bottle sample @ RBBWG 2016, thanks Dylan.

Bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen. Clear, very dark red to black with a tan to brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, some licorice and vanilla. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and dark ripe fruits, followed by a short, slightly bitter, roasty finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel. Very nice!

Thank you for sharing Kraddel! 650 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG V. Black, little mocha bubbles. Nose is very big coffee, mocha, thick chocolate, lots of syrupy mocha, chocolate. Big sweet mocha coffee, sweet sugary, chocolate mousse taste , thick sweet mocha, chocolate,… Thick chocolate syrup body. Very good, a bit too heavy on the chocolate syrup to be perfect, a small boost of real coffee would have given it even more edge (a small touch less comical & a bit more balanced) but very nice & fun as it is.
