Sampled at RBBWG16 . thnx for sharing everyone ! Pours clear blonde, no real head. Smell is Honey, buttery. Taste is bit bitter. Honey aspects. Bit malty. Ok.

Bottle sample @ RBBWG 2016, thanks Eic. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme est fruité, houblonné, grains malté pâle rappelant une bière belge, peut-être également de l’usage de la levure. Retrouve un rétro-nasal centré sur un agréable bouquet fruité rouge, léger au niveau de la barrique. Palais rappel un peu un côté apple brandy, pomme, barrique modéré et une levure en ajout rappelant un cidre fermier. Fini est sec avec un profil belge, mais un peu moins au niveau de l’usage de vin rouge qui reste assez discret snas apporter vraiment de réel différence.

0.66 l bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen. Minimally hazy, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, honey and vanilla. Sweetish-malty taste of caramel, honey and vanilla, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel.

Thank you for sharing erickok! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG V. Presumably 2013 Vintage. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is weirdly lactic oak, spoiled yoghurt, rotting weird spoiled lactic. Taste is weird spoiled lactic yoghurt & bad wine, sugar, bitter oak, vanilla, grapes. Murky body. Didn’t like it, very big disappointment. The high score is lost on me.

Sampled from bottle @ Ratebeer Belgian Winter Gathering 2016. Lightly unclear yellow color, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, yeast, some vanilla, -is there wine in there??- lightly wood. Quite nice! Yeah, quite pleasant.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a nice medium size foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light fruity ester with some peppery yeast and with some residual sugar notes. Taste is also dominated by residual sugar notes with some peppery yeast with some light fruity ester. Oak notes are barely perceptible and vinous notes are hard to come by. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Good beer but can’t help but feel disappointed after reading the description on the label. Barrel-aging notes are barely apparent.

Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a fizzy-bubbly head that fizzes away and leaves minimal lacing. Aromas of caramel malts and grapes. Seems sweet, but the taste is showing this mildly. Starts with the fruit (wine notes), goes to a middle of light hop grass, to finish with the caramel. Not bad, but nothing expected like a tripel. Interesting wine barrel notes, but the base of the brew is a little average. "Tombe un peu sur le coeur".
