Canned, 330 ml courtesy of Boris. Brown with beige head. Malty, roasty, cocoa, coffee, dry, some bitterness in finish. Thin after.

Can from Beer52. Black with a tan head. Full, rich, silky smooth mouthfeel. There's a certain fakeness in the aroma - more camp coffee than real coffee. It gets better on tasting, with milk chocolate, sweet black coffee, a light ashiness, a touch of metal and a touch of cream in the finish. Pretty decent, although fell a little short of my hopes. The lovely mouthfeel is the highlight.

330ml can, via Beer 52. Pours dark brown towards black with a beige head. Aroma: chocolate, hedgerow berries & coffee. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, milk chic, roast coffee, creamy, earthy. Medium body with generous carbonation

24/8/2020. Sample courtesy of SHIG. Pours very dark brown with a small frothy beige head. Aroma of camp coffee, milk chocolate dusting, roasted malt, biscuit, nut, vanilla, dried fruits. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, smooth but becomes slightly watery. Very soft carbonation. Sweet milky coffee finish.

Can: Poured a black with a tan color head. Aroma is dark chocolate, light coffee, rich malts, biscuit. Taste is semi-sweet chocolate, rich malts, light coffee bean, hint of vanilla.

330ml can @ monthly tasting Chez Sophie July 20. Thanks blackhaddock for this one! Hazed deep dark appearance, frothy beige head. Light chocolate nose. Overall character relies on milk chocolate, coffee roast and almond, expected a little more creaminess but it's nicely balanced. Decent.

330ml can via Beer52: BB 28th Apr 2021. Last beer of the night on 18th Jul 2020. Smooth tanned head on a black body, looked good in my thistle shaped glass. Coffee esters and flavour rule the nose and taste, enough room for some dark malty chocolate and lactose too.

Small tan head left a blotchy cover on a dark brown still body. Coffee & dark chocolate aroma. Medium bodied, tingly on the front & smooth on the back. Sweet coffee, dark chocolate, lactose, syrup & peppery spiced tastes. Good one.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A lovely looking pour, looking like a mega espresso in terms of colour; rich chocolatey coffee taste with a hint of almond, and a smooth creamy body. Very good.

Can, thx Hrabren! Very dark brown, little off white head. Coffee aroma, nutty, figs. Lean taste, nicely balanced. Smooth, light coffee taste, cocoa, nutty, quite drinkable little porter.
