A low, incredibly dark tan head on a near black body. Head dissipates quickly. A gnarly dark nose with tanned leather, roasted malt, whiskey, licorice, dark berries and a touch of coconut. Abstrakt dark arts at their best. The taste is typically layered, intense and dark. Raisins, dark chocolate, fudge cake, leather, dark berries, whiskey and a touch of coconut. that hint of sourness takes it to another level. Not quite as rich and dense as anticipated, but solidly mid range. Bamalam.

A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light soya sauce, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. On tap at Craft & Draft.

Bottled. Pitch black colour, small head, which vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, mild toffee and some alcohol as well as some wood and mild vanilla. Flavour is cocoa, some roasted notes, chocolate, coffee, mild alcohol as well as some wooden and mild raisins and ripe fruits to it. Rather sweet, but still quite nicely balanced.

(Bottle) Black colour with brief, foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, liquorice, soy sauce and whisky. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, cacao, black coffee, liquorice, vanilla, toasted coconut, treacle, whisky, oak wood and a sweetish, warming finish with a generous cacao bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Rich and powerful. Hardly shy, but really tasty and fairly well balanced. Great beer.

Very nice stout with a lot of roasted malts. Nice coffee taste and finish . Very nice bar @Berlin.Lots of fun

375 ml waxed bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Pitch black colour, hardly any head. Aroma of roast malts, molasses, whisky, chocolate. Sweet and rich flavour with the same elements. Full mouthfeel.
