Malted barley. Dry and light-bodied to better showcase the individuality of the hops in both aroma and flavour. A basic recipe is followed, with each batch utilising different hop varieties from around the world based on seasonality, availability, and the whims of the brewer.

Tap at Taphouse, Copenhagen (11/03/2023) - Medium sweet fruity and malty with notes of grapefruit and orange, some gooseberry and melon, pale malty support with a balanced bitter hoppy close. Nice.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow, some short-lived head. Aroma is fruity, grapefruit, papaya, light grape, lemon, lime, lots of pine. Light to medium body. Flavour is malty, light, light sweetness, herbal. Light bitterness. Lovely pine, fruity yet delicate, lots of lemon, grapefruit and lime. Bittersweet finish with lots of pine. Excellent.

Pours clear, pale blonde. Very small white head. Scent is sauvin up front, funky almost, 'smelly' rather than aromatic (fresh/citrussy side) , or rather than embracing the fruitpulpy side that is typical for amarillo. I blame Nelson ! Taste is fairly bitter, surprisingly fresh and crisp here. Not as much on the aromahops as expected, yet nice and refreshing pale ale.

Keg, half-time at the Boot, Wellington on 12th March 2023. Mini-haze to the orange/amber body, white crown. Piney and citrus nose, taste more on the citrus side, malts add some sweetness, late white wine like flavours before the bitter finish.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata limpida, schiuma bianca media, mediamente persistente. Al naso uva bianca, limone, pompelmo, leggero erbaceo. In bocca è equilibratissima e dalla ottima beva, con amaro medio e ottima secchezza. Corpo leggero, carbonazione medio-leggera. Eccellente.

Bottle at home picked up from Arch 7. An attractive, translucent golden orange coloured pour with a lasting fluffy off white head. Aroma is soft rustic bready notes, earthy citrus, grass, nelson, mellow background tropical notes, white grape. Flavour is composed of soft bready grains, wheat, spicy citrus, bark, pine needles, rustic and authentic. Palate is soft and fluffy, mellow fine carbonation. Firm bitterness. Lovely.

500ml bottle from House of the Leg Tremblers. It pours lightly hazy golden - yellow with a thick, fluffy & lasting off-white head. Quite a triumphant looking number this one. The aroma is soft, fresh, bready malts, zingy citrus, lemon curd, touch of tangerine, apricot jam, pine needles and grass. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing lingering bitterness, pine needles, spruce grass, dull resin, touch of spice, clean, citrus zingy, tangerine, peel, kumquat, lemon rind and support from pale clean malt. Finish is lingering bitter - dry with a green edge. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. A quality pale ale. Very satisfying to drink.
