Bottle, 2022 edition. Color: Lightly hazy golden, thin white head. Aroma: Tart, fruity, lightly leathery funk. Taste: Moderate to over moderate tart, fruity gooseberry and some lime. Also (still) a light sweetness. Horse blanket and leather funk. Hints of hay. Well balanced. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks to Colin. A light hazed brushed gold orange coloured pour with a a off white head. Aroma is big dank hop, green onion, grassy sweaty, apricot, salty, sour, lemon rind, citrus acid. Prickly sour, highish airy carbonation. Lime acid. Sour. Tangy.

Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers to Cloin. Pours unclear glowing orange-gold with a small, creamy white head. Light sweet flavour with some semi-ripe citrus, pale wood, decent tang, but of cellar funk. Medium bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Clean acidity to finish. Sound, well rounded.

750ml bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata brillante, leggermente velata, schiuma leggera e scarsamente persistente. Al naso note di lieviti selvatici, stalla, sughero, vinoso, balsamico. In bocca è acida decisa, vinosa, un po' troppo citrica per le mie corde. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Troppo giovane.

Bottle picked up at Boerenerf. Shared at home on Boxing Day with the missus. Wow, there’s things happening here. Bit of sulphur up front. Sweaty and fusty grain. Old oak. Overripe fruit. Bit of dessert apple pomace. Taste is sweet firstly, with a robust tart dry leathery character. Mega tasty overall but easy drinking. Leathery and woody fruity finish. Bonkers. For the record the missus liked this way more than I did.

75cl bottle @ Christmas tasting in blackhaddock's beer cave. Misty gold appearance. Good wild lambic aroma, soft woody hints, fruity. Lovely fruity lambic blend, though quite gentle overall.. soft tart tangents.. cutting acidity, citrussy lemon notes, fine carbonation. Very good.

Christmas Gathering, 18th December 2023. 5 guys at my gaff drinking beer and talking bollocks. 75cl bottle, Lot 22/23-18. Misty orange body, white collar and wisp. Sulphureous sourness to this blend, citrus leanings with a serious tartness to the dirty farmyard flavours.

Golden colour with thin head. Very noticeable oak in the aroma. Later some farmyard funk. It's tangy with some lemony notes. Soft tannins. Oak. Soft rounded finish.
