Description
The King Street Brew House is an urban style city centre pub with its very own micro-brewery creating an amazing range of both cask and keg beers.

Our beautiful micro-brewery has been the beating heart of the King Street Brew House since it opened in 2015. This integral feature of our venue is run by Simon, our Head Brewer, who brews an delicious range of cask beers as well as amazing some craft beers and lagers on tap.

Keg at the source. It pours clear deep red - brown with a small tan head. The aroma is earthy, toasty, sweet, oily, treacle, dried fruits, herbal and wood. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, sticky, toffee, treacle, booty alcohol, wood, leather, tannin and spice with a chewy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not bad, but not quite as good as its namesake...

2nd March 2018
Dan's Stag. Brewhouse. Bristol. Keg. Light haze on this amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dry malts, some caramel. Ripe fruits and ripe citrus. Mild bitterness in the dry finish. Tidy but dry.

Keg at the brewpub. Pours clear, deep brown with a tense, creamy khaki head. The nose has some coffee, dried cocoa, leathery berries. Medium sweet flaviut with brown bread, more dried and leathery berries, mild earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation, good balance in the finish, some toasted brown bread, touches of coconut, cocoa. Nice work.

Keg at The Source. It pours deep red - brown with a small tan head. The aroma is soft, sweet, oily, sugary, cola, tangy, berry, fruit cake and toasty action. The taste is dry, bitter, earth, charred wood, tannin, roasted malt, tar, coffee grounds and light spice with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty OK.

Keg atvthe brewpub. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a tight, creamy white head. Fleshy citrus in the nose, lemon, grapefruit, pale malts. Light sweet flavour with lots of pithy citrus, melon, lemon rind, grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine tonaverage carbonation. Lightly drying finish, pithy, some lemon rind, grapefruit, hay. Not bad.

Keg at the brewpub. Pours clear orange-gold with a tight, creamy topping. The nose has rindy citrus, tangerine, pale bread, hints of pine. Light sweet flavour with touches of pine, more tangerine rind, lightly dried pale bread. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some rindy bitterness, dry pale bread, orange rind. Good stuff.

Keg at The Source. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, toasty grain, bit orange peel, tangerine and white bread. The taste is crisp, dry bitter, straw, grassy, soapy, pithy lemon, lemongrass and white pepper with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp and pretty drying. Fair enough stuff.
