Can. As Nimbus Pale Ale. Murky copper, off-white foamy head. Major gusher - spilled all over my desk. Stale malt, citrus, earth, bread.

12oz bottle from Top Shelf Liquors, Cottonwood, AZ at 8.2% stated ABV. A cola coloured pour with a ring of cream head; aroma of mollasses and brown sugar with a hint of malt; sweet malty taste with some spice and lots of sugar; and then a satisfying burnt caramel finish with some chewy raisins. This Englishman thinks it's rather good.

I got this bottle in a trade with tayner. Thanks Dana!
This pours....whoa...overflow! I spilled a couple of ounces as I didn't expect it be so lively. Anywho, it's a hazy light yellow gold with a huge head of foam. There's some lacing and the foam is shrinking very slowly...
The smell is all citrus. I get a lot of lemon, orange, and lime? I can't sense any malt at all.
The taste has the lemon and the orange, not so much the lime, and a very buttery flavour that's coating my tongue. That part I could do without but it's most prevalent in the finish. Bummer.
Mouthfeel borders on medium and the carbonation is light to medium.
Hmm...well..I'm glad I got the chance to try it but it is not my cup of tea and finishing the 12oz will be a chore.

I got this bottle in a trade with Tayner. Thanks Dana!
It pours a dark brown with reddish hues and a good 2 finger head of off white foam. Good head retention and there's some lacing.
The smell has notes of roasted malt, some caramel, and a bit of bread.
The taste is of toffee, dark fruit. some caramel, slight chocolate, and a slight bitterness and tartness. I also get some hint of the alcohol but it's fairly mild.
It's around medium bodied and the carbonation is also medium. It finishes with the dark fruit, mostly cherry and some plum and raisin.
This is an interesting brew and though the flavours I mentioned say it is very complex, I feel the flavours are actually on the subdued side. That's ok for an English Brown but with the bigger abv content than is the norm, I guess I expected more. Still pretty tasty brew though.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a dark brown color with a nice finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Semi-foamy rings of lace form around the glass.
The aroma had some nutty sweet and toasty malts. Some dried chocolate malts and a touch of earthiness and grassiness.
The flavor smoothly enriches the sweet to the roastiness and brings in a subtle bitterness of some coffee beans. Earthy and grassy hops kindly move into the background. The aftertaste blends the sweet and roastiness of nuts, malts and grassy hops. Quick dry grassy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Moveable on my tongue with an appropriate ABV and good carbonation.
Overall, pretty good brown ale that I could come back to if I saw it.

Tap @Nimbus. Pours opaque black, small tan head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is bourbon forward, molasses, anise, light cocoa. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, apples, more apples, some bourbon. Light body, watery mouthfeel. Not a great effort.
