Bottle from SH Jones, Bicester, 23-09-06. Fairly standard brown colour beer with reasonable sized off white head. Some malts and fruits in the aroma, taste also rather malty and a touch caramelly sweetness, finishing with some bitterness. Fine enough.

Bottle conditioned beer, picked up by my dad whilst on hols’ in Cornwall. Dark copper coloured beer with a busy frothy head. Hops and malt are the predominant notes in the aroma but in the taste the malt comes even more to the fore, along with a slight toffeenis’ . Quite a pleasant beer.
