Craft Beer Co Cov Garden, cask. 04/03/20. Light stone fruit aroma. Hazy light amber. Bobbly white head just forms a ring. Light bitter with some vague stone fruit sweet and sour. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Abrupt finish. Nice enough.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 22nd February 2020. Hazy amber with shallow disappearing foam and scant lacing. Tropical fruits and pungent yeasts in aroma. Tropical dessert fruits in-mouth with suggestions of vanilla and chocolate. Orange citrus, creamy lactic notes and the hint of chocolate harmonise in an interesting finish. Light to medium body and a creamy, smooth somewhat clingy mouthfeel.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 16th February 2020. Barely penetrably black with tan foam and spot lacing. Rich and intense roast coffee aroma. Spices and espresso coffee in-mouth and a rich roasty finish. Very smooth texture and a medium body as befits a porter.

Cask (Belgium & Blues, Southampton) - Almost black in colour. Coffee, chocolate and blackcurrant in the aroma. Roasted taste with notes of cocoa, coffee, berries and vanilla.

Cask at CBC Covent Garden. Grassy citrus aroma. A slight haze to the dull gold. Forthy white head has a decent bald patch. Very light bitter with some vague stone fruit unsourness. Light-medium bodied. Thin if slick. Flat carbonation. Dry finish. 3.8% bore fest. But you can't dislike it as it's so safe.

Cask (Belgium & Blues, Southampton) - Golden with a fsint haze. Lemon, peach, apricot and some biscuity notes in the aroma. The taste is hoppy and slightly biscuity with notes of pine, apricot and marmalade.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 6th December 2019. Hazy straw coloured with shallow foam decaying to zero. Fruity aroma with sweet biscuit malt. Zesty citrus in-mouth and a bitter finish. Smooth mouthfeel and light body.

Can from Lifecraft, Cowes, IOW. Dark brown, almost black, opaque with a sizeable beige head. Lots of pine and liquorice in the aroma, with a bit of molasses. Taste is quite sweet, followed by a lovely moment of alnost umami moment with a touch of Marmite, followed by piney bitter hops to the finish. Liquorice and Marmite chocolate in the aftertaste. I've had a few so-so black IPAs lately that were basically hoppy stouts (and not very hoppy at that) but this is the real deal.

Bought at Big Smoke Brew Co. Funky raspberry and pineapple aroma. Hazy pale amber orange. Frothy translucent white head fades quickly. Initial sour raspberry with some underlying sweetness. However hoppy bitterness soon sweeps in. Raspberry remains throughout but not particularly getting pineapple. Light bodied. Slick if thin. Average carbonation. Long dry finish. Develops astringency. Nice enough if not really getting cocktail.
