Can from Hoptimism. Light yellow, clear with a foamy white head. Lemony character to the aroma, gluey resin, butter, hay. Sweet taste, almost saccharin, with some hoppy bitterness edging its way into the finish. Diet lemonade in the aftertaste. Soft to medium carbonation. Not all that keen on this beer.

Can bought at The Steel Tank, Chandler's Ford. Certainly smells of blueberry and vanilla. Cloudy opaque amber-orange. Bubbly translucent white head soon fades. Medium bitter at first, quite quinine. A certain amount of berry sourness. Sweetness on the periphery. As I drink more the sweetness takes over. Light bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Quite a sickly concoction. Not my thing.

Keg at Steel Tank Taphouse, Chandler's Ford. Rich boozy chocolate aroma. Dark. Thin creamy beige head. Light bitter with some sour dark fruits. Creamy mocha. Medium bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Long finish Some astringency. But for an Impy Stout it's somewhat nondescript.
