Really nicely done stout. Very thick pour... nice dark brown with tanish head that dissipates and laces beautifully. Scents are sweet and burnt. Flavor is similar, and even though it is heavy, it doesn’t sit poorly.

Nicely done pilsner. Pours about like an american lager... light honey color with lots of bubbles, but with a bigger head. Aroma is a little weak, hops come through. Lacing is pretty substantial. Taste is a little hoppier and more bitter (but a nice bitterness, not skunky) than most pilsners. Crisp due to high carbonation and hops bite.

Pours a dingy strawish color with a fair head. Aroma is hard to pin down: maybe some yeast or bread, a bit of coriander, and... I hesitate here... bananas? Could this be the monkey attraction? If it is bananas it’s really subtle, but the whole aroma is that way. Flavor is different in that it is much more pronounced. Sweet and spicy (maybe some vanilla, a real brief pepper blast and then fading to a yeast flavor.) Palate is a bit strange and I’m not sure that it all comes together as nice as I would like, but it is a nice brew. The alcohol bites a bit, and possibly interferes with the blending and finish of the flavors.

750ml, bottled on April 1, 2005-pours a full, fizzy white head. Color is cloudy yellow/orange. Aroma is malt, yeast and (coriander?/spices). Taste-wow! Starts with lots of carbonation&then the malt&yeast roll over the tongue. Finish is mild. As the ale has a chance to breathe, or, the ale gets a bit warmer, it gets milder all the way around. A nice beer.

Nice lager, could be better. Aroma is grassy with a bit of sweetness. Fairly malty taste with a little more sweetness than I expected... although it gives way to a nice bitterness.

12 oz bottle-pours a thick head, quickly reduces to very thin. Color is a clear pale yellow. Aroma is grain-sweet malt. Taste is grain-sweet malt, mild carbonation (to start). Dry finish. Only drawback, the carbonation diminishes throughout the glass of beer. 3.2 -on tap-pours a straw/yellow color with no head. Taste is a smooth grain, light on the carbonation. 3.0
